Beginning in late November, CTRMA will have a new Pay by Mail provider. Cofiroute will handle billing for toll usage that occurs after the middle of November (this date may shift). Depending on your frequency of toll usage, you may receive bills from both MSB and Cofiroute for a few months. Please make sure to use the remittance slips included with your bill to ensure your payment gets to the correct vendor and double check any bill pay banking instructions. You may visit Cofiroute’s new Pay by Mail website at for more information beginning November 28.

In observance of the Fourth of July holiday, the MSB call center will be closed on Thursday, July 4th, 2019 through Saturday, July 6th, 2019. Call center services will resume at 7:30a.m. Monday, July 8th, 2019. Payments can still be made on our website or telephone automated payment system. Have a safe holiday!

Dispute a Toll

Exceptions for Paying a Toll

Unless specifically exempted by law or policy, all registered vehicle owners are required to pay for travel on Mobility Authority operated facilities.

For tolls to be waived, one of the following must be demonstrated:
  • The vehicle was sold or transferred to another party before the referenced travel
  • The vehicle was reported stolen before the referenced travel
  • The vehicle was leased or rented before the referenced travel

If your vehicle falls in to one of these categories, please complete the Toll Violation Defense Form below and submit it along with supporting documentation.

Examples of supporting documentation include:
  • Bill of Sale dated and signed by both parties
  • Title dated and signed by both parties
  • Odometer Disclosure Statement including the date the vehicle was purchased/sold
  • Reposession Statement dated and signed
  • Police Report showing the vehicle was lost/stolen
  • Letter from the insurance company stating the vehicle was salvaged
  • Statement from the rental/leasing agency showing dates of lease

E-mail is the best way to ensure that your dispute has been submitted. Simply email copies of all supporting documentation and your Toll Violation Defense form to MSB. All documentation received must include a date, the vehicle liscense plate number and/or the toll bill reference ID to be accepted.

If you are unable to scan and email the relevant documents, you may fax or mail the documents to MSB’s attention. All disputes will be acknowledged in writing within ten (10) days of receipt.
